A 4Days (3 Nights) Gorilla Safari to Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. This safari takes you for mountain gorilla trekking in Rwanda. After the gorilla trek, either go for golden monkey tracking or a hike to the Dian Fossey tombs near Karisoke research center. The trip ends with a Kigali city tour to the genocide memorial sites, local markets and museums.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Kigali airport – PNV

Arrive to Kigali International Airport where you will be met by our Africa Adventure safari driver / guide who will transfer you to Kigali for lunch and later to Ruhengeri (Volcanoes). Volcanoes is part of the Virunga mountains which has different volcanoes like Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura, Sabyinyo and is home to endangered mountain gorillas together with Bwindi(Uganda) and Congo. Spend overnight and enjoy meals at Kinigi Guesthouse/ Gorilla’s Nest Hotel (FB).

Day 2: mountain gorilla tracking

Early morning wake up and take breakfast then proceed to the park head quarters for briefing. Go for gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes forest where you will be amazed by the huge size of the silverback, the behavior and communicating skills of these unique creatures among other things. Use this moment to learn and discover all there is about the gorillas. After wards return to Kinigi Guesthouse/ Gorilla Nest House. (FB)

Day 3: Dian Fossey’s grave/Golden monkey tracking

Enjoy breakfast in the morning and get to either Visit the famous American Primatologist Dian Fossey’s graveyard she dedicated almost 20 years to studying and protecting mountain gorillas. See where she was murdered from at Karisoke. You can go for golden monkey tracking it’s another rare primates you can learn about spend overnight and enjoy meals at Kinigi Guesthouse/ Gorilla’s Nest Hotel (FB).

Day 4: Back to Kigali

Take for Kigali and if time permits visit the genocide memorial and later transfer to Kigali airport. Have a safe journey.
